Every vendor on DayOf gets a unique shareable link. Couples who land on it see your profile first and you get credit for every booking they make through DayOf - even bookings with other vendors.

How to do it

Open Referrals
/dashboard/referrals shows your link, copy buttons, share-template drafts (SMS, email, Instagram DM), and stats.

Copy your link
Format is dayofweddings.com/from/your-business-name. The slug is generated from your business name; if there's a collision a 4-character suffix gets added so it stays human-readable.

Share it
Three pre-written templates: SMS, email, Instagram DM. Click one, edit the copy, hit Copy. The templates are starting points, not final copy - personalize before sending.

Watch your stats
Four numbers: couples landed, signed up, sent inquiries, bookings credited. Each booking from a referred couple counts toward your tier - even if they ended up booking another vendor.

Bulk send to your pipeline
/dashboard/referrals/couples is where you list the couples you've worked with or are talking to. /dashboard/referrals/send picks from that list and emails your link in a batch through DayOf. Every send is logged so you can attribute later landings back to the outreach.

What to expect

Attribution lasts 90 days from the couple's last landing on your link. Wedding shopping is a 12-18 month arc, so couples lurk and return - the long window is intentional. Last-touch wins: if a couple lands via two different vendor links, the most recent one gets the credit.

Common questions

Do I get credit if they book another vendor instead of me?

Yes. The point of the system is cross-pollination - you're a guide, not just an ad for your own listing. Every booking the couple makes through DayOf within the attribution window counts toward your referral_bookings_count.

What if they share my link with another couple?

Each couple has their own anonymous session, so multiple landings on your link from different devices each track separately. Your stats reflect total landings.
