Delete your account

Permanently removes your DayOf account, your saved vendors, and your inbox. Bookings stay on file (we're legally required to keep them), but they're disconnected from your account.

How to do it

  1. 01

    Download your data first

    We can't recover anything once the deletion runs. Use the Download my data button before you start.

  2. 02

    Open Profile settings

    /dashboard/profile, scroll to the Privacy card.

  3. 03

    Press Delete account

    A confirmation modal opens.

    Type DELETE to confirm

    We require the exact word, in caps. Press Confirm to start the deletion.

What to expect

Deletion runs immediately. You'll be signed out, and the email address frees up so you (or someone else) can sign up again later. We hold your bookings for seven years for tax and dispute reasons, then they're erased too.

Common questions

What if I have an upcoming event?

We block deletion until your last event has happened and the final payment has settled. Email help@dayofweddings.com if you need to leave sooner - we'll work something out.
