Inbox and replies

Every conversation with a vendor lives in your inbox at /dashboard/inbox. Each thread keeps the messages, the quote, and (eventually) the booking in one place.

How to do it

    Open the inbox

    Click the Inbox icon in the top bar, or open /dashboard/inbox.

    Skim the thread cards

    Each card shows the vendor name, the latest message, an unread dot, and a stage label (Inquiry, Quoted, Booked).

    Open a thread

    Click anywhere on the card. The full conversation opens with the message history on the left and event details on the right.

    Reply

    Type in the box at the bottom and press Send. Press Cmd-Enter (or Ctrl-Enter on Windows) to send without leaving the keyboard.

What to expect

New replies trigger an email notification by default. You can mute a thread from the kebab menu in the top right of the conversation, or turn email off entirely from Profile → Notifications.

Common questions

Why is a thread marked Negotiating?

It means the vendor sent you a quote and you (or they) countered. The latest offer card sits near the bottom of the thread with Accept, Counter, and Decline buttons.

Can I delete a message?

No - but you can edit a message for up to 60 seconds after sending it. After that the thread is a permanent record both you and the vendor can rely on.
