Adding a planner to your wedding
Your wedding planner can ask to be added to your DayOf wedding so they can manage your timeline, checklist, documents, and the day-of run sheet alongside you. You decide what they can see and edit.
How to do it
- 01
Wait for their invite
If you're working with a planner who uses DayOf, they send the invite. You get an email with a Review the invitation button.
- 02
Review the access
The accept page lists eight specific permissions: overview / checklist / timeline / documents / vendors / logistics / run sheet / chat. Each has its own checkbox - turn off whatever you don't want them to see.
- 03
Accept (or decline)
Accept opens the planner's view inside your wedding immediately. Decline closes the invitation; the planner gets a heads up.

What to expect
Once you accept, the planner shows up on your wedding-team list and can do exactly what you granted - nothing more. You can revoke access any time from your wedding settings. Every action they take is logged with their name on the row, so you can see who did what.
Common questions
Can my planner see my private chats with other vendors?
Only if you give them the 'Read your vendor chat threads' permission. It's off by default.
Can I have more than one planner?
One planner per wedding for now. If you switch planners, revoke access for the first one before inviting the next.
