Florals

Request a custom floral quote

On any product at /florals you can either add it to your cart or, if you want something off-catalog, press Request a custom quote. That opens a thread with the florist so they can write back with a tailored estimate for your palette, vessel, scale, and date.

How to do it

  1. 01

    Open a floral product

From /florals, tap any tile - ceremony arch, bouquet, centerpiece, reception accent.

  2. 02

    Optional: pre-fill the customizations

Pick a palette swatch, vessel, scale - whatever the florist set up. Your selections show up in the quote message so the florist sees concrete context.

  3. 03

    Press Request a custom quote

Sits below Add to cart on floral products. The button is florist-side specific - cakes stay catalog-only.

    Request a custom quote
  4. 04

    Review the draft, send

We pre-fill a friendly intro referencing the product and any customizations you picked. Edit it freely - personalize beats template.

    Send to florist

What to expect

You land in the new thread at /dashboard/inbox/[threadId]. The florist gets an email and SMS notification, and replies in the same thread. The thread header links back to the product you asked about so you can both stay grounded in the same reference.

Common questions

Should I add it to my cart or request a quote?

If the listing fits as-is (palette + vessel + scale all work for you), Add to cart is faster - you pay the catalog price and the florist confirms. If you want something off the catalog (custom palette, larger arrangement, different vessel), Request a quote so the florist can price it for you.

Can I do both?

Yes. You can add a few catalog florals to your cart and request a quote on a fourth that needs customization. Each request opens its own thread.

Is this on cakes too?

Not yet - cake products stay catalog-only. Bakers price servings + flavor combinations transparently up front, so the quote step doesn't add value. We may revisit if there's demand.
