Storefront
Open a storefront (florist or dessert creator)
Florists and dessert creators sell catalog products on DayOf instead of (or alongside) inquiry-style listings. Couples browse your products at /florals or /cakes, customize palette / vessel / tier count, and add to cart. You get the order, fulfill it, and DayOf handles checkout + the deposit.
Open in appHow to do it
- 01
Pick your category in the listing wizard
/dashboard/listings/new step 1 - tap Florist or Dessert Creator. The wizard publishes a thin listing so couples on /search can still find you by name, and lands you on storefront setup.

Set your storefront fees
/dashboard/products/fees - delivery per mile, labor markup, late-pickup fee, booking cutoff days, and your service agreement. These flow into every product's checkout total automatically.
- 03
Flip storefront enabled
Same page, at the top. Toggle on. Your products won't go live until you publish at least one.

What to expect
Once you publish, couples on /florals or /cakes can see your product, customize it, and add to cart. You get an order in your dashboard with the customizations attached. DayOf collects the deposit through Stripe Connect; the rest is paid on delivery / pickup per your agreement.
Common questions
Do I need a listing too?
Yes - the listing wizard publishes a thin one when you pick Florist or Dessert Creator. It's how couples searching by name on /search find you. The storefront is the product surface; the listing is the vendor surface.
Can I open a storefront WITHOUT going through the listings wizard?
Yes - go to /dashboard/products directly. You'll still need a provider row (created when you start Stripe Connect onboarding) and storefront fees configured, but no listing is required.
Can I take inquiries on top of storefront orders?
Yes - couples can either add a product to cart or press Request a custom quote on a product page (florals only for now). Both flows land in the same inbox.
