All payments on DayOf are processed securely through Stripe. Here is how it works:
When you book a vendor
50% of the booking total is charged immediately as the Initial Payment.
The remaining 50% (the Final Payment) is charged automatically 14 days before your event.
For clients
There is no fee to use the DayOf platform.
By confirming a booking, you authorize DayOf to charge your selected payment method for both the Initial Payment and the Final Payment.
DayOf does not store full payment card information.
For vendors
DayOf retains 5% of the booking total as a platform fee, deducted from your payout.
Payout timing depends on your Stripe account settings.
All payments must go through the platform. Off-platform payments are not permitted.
