When you use DayOf, you agree to our User Agreement. Here is a summary of the key points:
What DayOf is
DayOf is a discovery and booking marketplace for wedding and event vendors. We connect clients with vendors, process payments, and set the rules of the platform. We are not a party to any service agreement between a client and a vendor.
Accounts
You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
Bookings
When a client submits a booking request and a vendor accepts, a binding service contract is formed directly between the client and the vendor. DayOf is not a party to this contract.
Category exclusivity
Clients may only book one vendor per service category per event (for example, one photographer, one entertainment vendor, one coordinator).
Payments
50% of the booking total is charged at booking (Initial Payment). The remaining 50% is charged 14 days before the event (Final Payment). All payments go through Stripe. There is no fee for clients to use the platform.
Content
You retain ownership of content you upload but grant DayOf a license to use it for platform operations. Vendor-created content (photos, video, etc.) remains the exclusive property of the vendor.
Liability
DayOf is not liable for vendor performance, event-related incidents, or disputes between users. Our total liability is limited to $100 or fees retained during the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Governing law
The agreement is governed by North Carolina law. Disputes must be brought in North Carolina courts.
